Design your own customized caricature stationery

How do I personalize my stationery?

To begin personalizing your stationery, click on the "design" tab.  You will be asked to choose the background of your card from a variety of designs.  Every single design can be used for a two-person card, silhouette card, or regular one-person card.  Once you decide on a design you like, click "personalize this design with my pose" and you will be taken to our sketch page.  Here, use the arrows to scan all of the available facial variables and accessories, and customize your person by clicking on specific features.  When you are happy with your "pose," click "Save Model" and you will then be prompted to "Personalize Message."

If you want to create a silhouette card, follow these same steps, but choose "Silhouettes" from the drop-down menu of the sketch page (where you choose Male or Female and the skin color).  When you have selected the silhouette you would like for your card, click "Save Model" and you will be prompted to "Personalize Message."

Enter the text exactly how you would like it to appear on the card, and feel free to preview and re-do it until it's exactly how you want it to look.  Once you are happy with the preview, you can either add it to the shopping bag and order your cards, or send it as an e-card to brighten someone's e-mail box!

Will you send me a proof?

We do not automatically e-mail proofs.  If you would like a digital proof to approve before we print your PosePrints, please make the request in the "Comments" box at check-out.  If you do request a proof, we will send you a proof within 3 business days and will wait until we receive your approval before we print your order.

We also send out a proof if we need to verify anything on the product, or if we want to suggest something should be changed (spelling or alignment of the text, for example).  In this case, we will e-mail a proof to the e-mail address you provide us.  However, since many orders are time-sensitive, we will proceed with printing the design as you initially had it if we do not hear back from you regarding the proof within two days.

Are there custom options available? I don't see exactly what I want.

Yes!  We want to make sure you love everything about your PosePrints, so do not hesitate to let us know if you would like something on your product changed!  If your request is simple (such as changing the alignment of your text, changing the font type, or changing a color), simply submit your order with your request in the "Comments" section at check-out.  We will then send you a proof -- within 3 business days -- with the change you requested.

If your request is more complicated (such as, "I would like there to be specialized clothing and a unique background design"), then we may charge an up-front artwork fee (with the price depending on the complexity).  We have created many custom features and cards/magnets/wedding programs for customers, such as different face shapes, unique hairstyles, and more!  Please contact us if you have questions about your request, and we will get back to you within 24 hours.

Can I put a silhouette, two people or a single pose on ANY of your background designs?

Yes!  You can add a silhouette, two-poses or a single pose to any of our background designs.  Just select the background design you like, click "personalize this design with my pose," and then use the drop-down menu on the personalization page to select if you want a Man, Woman, Little Girl, Little Boy or Silhouette on your card.

May I add a birthday cake with a different candle number?

Of course!  To add a birthday cake with a special number (or with no number!) to your pose, simply add the cake that is there, and then make note of the number you would like in the "Comments" section at check-out.  We will change your candle's number and send you a proof to approve (within 3 business days) before we print your personalized products.

Why do I see a pending transaction on my bank account, when I wasn't able to place my order?

 This happens when the billing zip code you have entered on your order doesn't match the billing zip code on the credit card you're trying to use. If you change up that billing address on the order, it should make the transaction go through. Now in regards to the pending transaction, for whatever reason some banks will hold your funds for a couple of days when you get this specific zip code error. We have no idea why. The good news is that those transactions don't ever validate and will drop off of your bank account within 1-7 days.

What forms of payment are accepted online?

PosePrints currently accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover Card, and PayPal.
 

How did you come up with your idea?

Jen created her first personalized "pose" for her own high school graduation announcements back in '99, and has since been asked by family and friends to create customized invitations, cards and announcements for their own special events.  After receiving sensational reviews for the invitations she made for her Mom's Hawaiian-themed birthday party, and with a large dose of inspiration from her family, she decided to create a way to take her stationery to the public.  For more about Jen and her Mom -- the Founders -- please visit the about us page.

Are credit card transactions secure?

Yes!  All credit card information sent to PosePrints is completely encrypted.  Once you begin your checkout process, everything will go through our secure server.

Can I make a purchase if I do not want to use my credit card online?

Yes!  We will be happy to take your order by phone, e-mail or US Post.  We also accept PayPal.  Please provide us with your credit card number, the verification code on the back of your card, and the zip code of the address where you receive your credit card statement.  Please also provide us with a shipping address.

When should I place my order?

It will only take us three to five business days after receipt of your order to process your order.  For magnet orders, please allow seven to ten business days for printing.  Please allow additional time for shipping, depending on the shipping option you choose.

Do you send a confirmation e-mail?

Yes.  Once your order has been placed, you will receive confirmation of your order to the e-mail address you provide.

What are your return, refund and cancellation policies?

Before your order is printed, we will be happy to make any changes you request or even cancel your order. However, once we begin processing your order, but prior to printing, and you want to cancel your order there will be a minimum cancellation charge of 50% of the total cost of your order, or $25, whichever is greater. The exact amount will be determined by PosePrints, in its sole discretion, and will be based on the amount of work that has already been done on your order.

If you want to reduce your order after it has been placed, we will be happy to do so.  However, any reduction in your order after we have begun processing it will be subject to the minimum cancellation charge of 50% of the amount being cancelled, or $25, whichever is greater. If your net credit due for the reduced quantity is less than $15, you will be entitled to the credit in additional products or services.

If your PosePrints order contains a printing error or typo caused by our production staff, we will gladly replace your order at no charge to you. We may ask you to return the erroneous cards at our expense. Sorry, we cannot replace cards if the error was contained in the copy you provide, or if you approve a proof.  Please check your copy carefully before approving your order. In this situation, we may reprint your order at a discount from the original cost. Except as provided herein, no refunds nor returns are allowed on PosePrints products.

Can I make changes to my order after I place it?

If you contact us before your order has been printed, we will be happy to make any changes you request or even cancel your order.  We will do our best to make the changes before your order is processed.  However, since we have a quick turnaround time, we cannot guarantee we will be able to intercept or change your order before it is printed.  We will do our very best!  Please make sure your order is correct and final before you place it. 

Can I track my order online?

When your order is shipped, we will send you a confirmation e-mail that contains a UPS tracking number.

How soon will I receive my order?

If you order cards or notepads, it will take us three to five business days after receipt of your order to fulfill your order.  It will take seven to ten business days to fulfill magnet orders.  Please allow additional time for shipping.   If your order is urgent, feel free to call us (toll free) at (888) 526-7673 and we will do our very best to expedite the production process!

Are envelopes included with my cards and magnets?

Yes, each card and magnet comes with a bright-white envelope!

Do you have a faster shipping service available?

Yes, your order can be shipped via UPS 2-day, UPS 3-day or Overnight UPS.  However, there is an additional surcharge for this service, as indicated in the shipping section of the Shopping Cart.

What are your Shipping and Handling charges?

May I have my online order sent to a different location than my billing address?

Yes!  Just provide us with an alternate shipping address at check-out.

Can orders be shipped outside of the U.S.?

Yes, PosePrints ships outside of the United States, however we only accept payments via PayPal for international orders.  Please see the Customer Service page for more information about international shipping.

How is sales tax calculated on orders?

By law, we are required to collect 7.5% sales tax on all orders received from within California.

May I use your artwork and graphics for my business/blog?

No, unfortunately not.  All contents appearing on PosePrints.com and our products are the property of PosePrints, Inc.  All images are protected by copyright and are exclusively for PosePrints stationery products.  Any other use without the express consent of Jen or Denise at PosePrints, Inc. is strictly prohibited.  We reserve the right to pursue all legal remedies against any person and/or company who infringes on these rights.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions!
