It was a family's love of homemade stationery that led to PosePrints' creation. The mother-daughter team -- comprised of Denise (mother) and Jen (daughter) -- has never settled for common names-and-dates stationery or invitations. They have always annotated their lives' special events with Jen’s personalized invitations, announcements, and note cards.
The daughter of two finance gurus, Jen Harland (below left) fell miles from the tree. As a kid, she was often commissioned to illustrate her friends' school projects, and she literally cringes at the thought of gifting a store-bought greeting card. In an attempt to be "practical," Jen skipped art school to study Mass Communications at UCLA, where she kept up her drawing and had her first itch to make a business out of it. Post-college, she moved to Manhattan and worked in Television Advertising Sales for five years. Denise Foster (below right) is, according to Jen, an "amazing mother" with every sort of business savvy needed to transform Jen's drawings into a business. Denise started her career with business school in San Francisco, and has applied her skills to a variety of careers -- from long-time CPA to entrepreneur. Working to move Jen's art beyond the casual realm of friends and family has been her most meaningful professional endeavor. Denise has three children -- another daughter and a son -- and lives in the Bay Area.
So, here we are, determined to make it easy for you to find the right "pose" for all of your life's events. We hope you find our products truly unique, memorable, and -- most of all -- fun!
